Who is behind How Do AI?
How Do AI is a small outfit with thirty-five years in IT behind it. Code written late into the night, development teams led, people managed, and more websites and applications shipped than we can honestly count. We have watched the web arrive, then mobile, then the cloud — and each time, watched smaller businesses get left behind while the technology went to whoever could afford a team.
AI is the first one of those waves where that does not have to happen. The things we can build in a day now would have taken a team of developers weeks a few years ago. The cost of doing something genuinely useful has collapsed. But most small businesses are still standing on the outside of it, hearing the noise and having no idea where to start.

What do you actually do?
Three things, and they overlap. We build chatbots that sit on your website and answer customers at eleven at night when you are asleep. We run the ongoing marketing admin — social posts, review replies, finding new local customers — on a monthly plan where you approve everything in about five minutes a day. And we take on bespoke work: automations, integrations, internal tools, websites, the jobs that do not fit a package.
Consulting is sold in fixed blocks of hours — £150 for four, £250 for eight, £400 for sixteen — and those prices are published because they do not change. Chatbots, monthly plans and bespoke builds are quoted for your business after a free call, because what they cost genuinely depends on what you need. Either way you get a fixed price in writing before any work starts, and you will never get an invoice you were not expecting.

Done with you, not to you
You should always know what is being built and why. You keep the code, the logins and the data — there is nothing to be locked into.

Thirty-five years taught us that. We find one useful thing, get it working in days, and only then talk about what is next.
Who do you work with?
Small businesses across the UK, and a lot of them within an hour of Amersham — plumbers, electricians, salons, cafés, independent shops, dentists, estate agents, accountants, driving instructors. Mostly people who are the owner and the marketing department and the person who does the invoicing, all at once. If that is you, you are exactly who this is for.
What we do not do is enterprise. Not because we could not — we spent decades there — but because the pricing and the pace here are built around owner-operators who need something working in weeks, not a six-month rollout and a procurement process.
Where are you based?
New Road, Amersham, HP6 6LD. That is the only office — no branches, no franchises. Most of the work happens over Zoom and shared documents, so it makes very little difference where you are, but if you are in Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire or Berkshire we are close enough to come to you when it genuinely helps.
